Reverse triggering or excessive inspiratory effort beyond the mechanical inspiratory time
Your second comment was correct. The reason why it is not reverse triggering is that the breath is patient triggered as demonstrated by the pressure deflection prior to breath delivery. This same looking waveform can occur with reverse triggering, but there would be no indication of patient trigger.
